La batteria al litio alimentata a carburante a idrogeno puro{0}}offre una nuova opzione per la riduzione delle emissioni di carbonio
In the early 1960s, Toshiba started the research and development of hydrogen energy products, which are currently mainly used in wind-solar hydrogen storage projects and the combination of renewable energy, the utilization of industrial by-product hydrogen, and the utilization of combined heat and power. The pure hydrogen fuel-powered lithium battery system H2Rex™ exhibited at this CIIE is currently the world's leading pure hydrogen fuel-powered lithium battery system. It not only increases the power generation efficiency to 50 percent -55 percent , but also the comprehensive energy efficiency of 95 percent and the service life of 80,000 hours standard. Importantly, H2Rex™ only emits water and does not emit CO when generating electricity, and can achieve zero carbon emissions from hydrogen production to hydrogen utilization.
Miyazaki Yoichi said: "It is very important to continue the popularization of hydrogen energy in my country, and I hope Toshiba's hydrogen energy products will provide new options for low-carbon measures." Toshiba and methanol-to-hydrogen fuel power lithium battery power generation system technology company, Mohydro Technology Co., Ltd. cooperates to supply high-quality, long-life fuel-powered lithium battery power generation systems. Combining the characteristics of my country's energy structure, the two parties highly integrate the advantages of methanol and hydrogen fuel-powered lithium batteries. Methanol produces hydrogen online, and the hydrogen does not need to be purified and supercharged. It directly enters Toshiba's long-life hydrogen-rich stack to generate electricity. More economical, more convenient, wider and safer application. The MPT long-life stationary methanol fuel-powered lithium battery co-generation product jointly developed by Toshiba and MPT has the comprehensive advantages of long life, high efficiency, quietness, low emission, intelligent control, and multi-energy input, which can effectively solve the problems of communication base station, Off-grid customers such as frontier and pastoral areas, cultural tourism homestays, Southeast Asia and other off-grid customers continue to have uninterrupted electricity and thermal energy needs.
Lithium-ion batteries - the "Pearl of Energy Storage Batteries"
Lithium-ion batteries are ubiquitous in our lives today, and they are an outstanding invention in the long and legendary history, providing mankind with a convenient and intelligent way of energy storage. Toshiba's other flagship product at this year's CIIE, the new SCiB™ lithium-ion battery, was unveiled. It is not only small in size, light in weight, and high in power density, but also maintains a capacity of more than 90 percent after being charged and discharged for more than 20,000 times. This high-quality, long-life battery reduces the burden on the environment from use to disposal. It can be applied to scenarios such as electric vehicles, EV buses, port cranes, railway ships, super-large trucks, and drones.
Toshiba Exhibits SCiB™ Lithium-Ion Battery
The SCiB™ lithium-ion battery exhibited by Toshiba at this exhibition uses LTO anode material. In theory, metal lithium will not be precipitated, and the risk of internal short circuit is low. Once an internal short circuit occurs, the unique material mechanism can reduce the risk of fire and explosion. It has fast charging and low temperature performance. It only takes 3 minutes to charge to reach 80 percent of the power. Even if the charging experiment is performed at a low temperature of -20 degree , the capacity will not be reduced. The volume change of the SCiB™ lithium-ion battery during charging and discharging is very small, which can ensure the service life. This is also confirmed in the experiments under the condition of ambient temperature of 35 degree . After 20,000 times of charging and discharging, the capacity still maintains above 90 percent . Compared to conventional Li-ion batteries, SCiB™ offers lower battery voltage, longer charge-discharge cycle life, superior operating and rechargeable temperatures, and lower total cost of ownership. In the future, Toshiba's lithium-ion battery products will continue to serve various application scenarios to support various social infrastructure operations.
IEGT guida le applicazioni per semiconduttori ad alta-potenza
When it comes to the high-power device IEGT, it dates back to the 1990s. Toshiba Semiconductor's engineers realized the gate injection enhancement (InjectionEnhancedGateTransistor) technology, improved the traditional IGBT, and registered the exclusive name with the first letter of the technology. IEGT.
With the increasing number of photovoltaic power plants, wind/hydro power plants, and the rapid development of new energy technologies and demands in recent years, traditional DC transmission systems are facing unprecedented technical challenges. Facing the dual test of power and safety, Toshiba's high-power device IEGT has become a major player in the flexible DC transmission system with its advanced manufacturing process and high reliability. IEGT has the characteristics of high reliability, high efficiency and high current density, and helps the development of flexible DC transmission and distribution, electric locomotives, medium and high power inverters and new energy industries.
Creare insieme un futuro migliore
At this year's CIIE, Toshiba also displayed a heavy ion beam cancer treatment device and a Matrixeye ultrasonic solder joint detector. The purpose is to use Toshiba's advanced technology to improve the quality of human life and improve work efficiency. Among them, the heavy ion cancer treatment device uses the principle of accelerating carbon ions to 70 percent of the speed of light to form carbon ion rays (=heavy ion rays) to achieve precise radiotherapy for "cancer lesions". At the same time, the miniaturized superconducting rotating gantry that can achieve irradiation at any angle can avoid important organs such as the spinal cord and nerves, thereby reducing physical obstacles and side effects caused by the treatment. "There are about 3 million new cancer patients in my country every year, and the number of people who go abroad to receive particle therapy is increasing year by year." Toshiba (my country) Co., Ltd. Chairman and President Miyazaki Yoichi said that in the popularization of particle therapy devices in my country, Toshiba will Do your best to contribute.
Safety hazards such as industrial production and traffic also threaten our lives. According to the International Labour Organization, an average of 860,000 accidents occur every day around the world. How to improve the safety performance of production equipment and vehicles is a problem that Toshiba has been thinking about for a long time. Toshiba Matrixeye ultrasonic solder joint detector, through 3D ultrasonic image synthesis technology and Toshiba's independently developed opening synthesis method, can greatly improve the accuracy and efficiency of production equipment and vehicle solder joint detection.
The dual-carbon goal is both an opportunity and a challenge to my country's development, and will have extensive and far-reaching impacts on my country's economic structure, energy structure, production and consumption patterns. Since entering the Chinese market in 1972, Toshiba has made many explorations and layouts in green development based on a century of relevant experience and technologies. In the future, based on the business philosophy of "For the Tomorrow of Humanity and the Earth", Toshiba will continue to expand its business development in my country, further deepen its environmental management, and seek "symbiosis with the earth" while "creating abundant value".
